Remek Miczek has conquered the Red Bull Skim It 2014, held in the Manufaktura arts center, in Lodz, Poland.

Poland is known for having a longtime hardcore skimboarding community, and talented riders. Manufaktura proved to be the perfect scenario for a successful urban skim event.

The Red Bull Skim It 2014 attracted 40 of the best skimmers in the country to compete in a specially-designed set, full of sliding challenges and obstacles.

Sam Stinnett and Casey Kiernan have officially been crowned the 2014 United Skim Tour (UST) champions, in Newport Beach, California.

It's all over. The world's best male and female skimboarders have been crowned in the last event of the season, the Balboa Oktoberfest.

The final stage was taken out by Blair Conklin, who secured his first contest victory of the year to finish in third place, in the final rankings.

The crew at Bick Skimboards spent the last summer filming and editing their newest baby. "So Sick" delivers a collection of "innovative, fresh tricks" while proving that skimboarding has an extremely funny side.

Lucas Fink was born on the 24th August, 1998. The skimboarder from Rio de Janeiro has been showing impressive natural talents. Recently, Fink won the Brazilian Skimboarding Championships. Let's review the math: yes, he's only 16.

Lucas Fink started skimming at nine years of age, and he is already riding for Exile Skimboards. The Brazilian star is a regular at Ipanema Beach, in Rio, but his favorite spot is Sununga.

"My first time was in Leblon, with some friends and a wooden board. I train there and in Ipanema, where I live. At 11, I was already competing," reveals Fink.

The 3rd edition of the Dutch Flatland Skimboarding Open (DFSO) will take place between May 23rd-24th, in Noordwijk, Netherlands.

The flatland skimboarding contest is the second stop on the European Skimboarding Cup 2015 and has attracted 40 athletes in the inaugural year. Riders from 12 countries are expected to return to Noordwijk.

The skimboarding competition runs during the Noordwijk Kiteboard Open weekend. The event gives beginner skimboarders the unique opportunity to see and learn with the best professional European skimboarders.

The new season is on. The 2015 United Skim Tour calendar has been released. Basically, nothing changes. There are no dramatic changes, which is good news, after all.

Sam Stinnett will defend his 2014 world title in eight stages. The world skimboarding circuit will, once again, visit the Mexican and Brazilian shore breaks of Cabo San Lucas and Sununga.

Lover's Beach delivered perfect conditions for a professional skimboarding contest. It was the first time the United Skim Tour has been held at Lover's since 2008. Hurricane Odile rocked Cabo last fall and changed the sand patterns on the Pacific side.

Austin Keen secured a back-to-back victory at the 2015 Southside Shootout, at Dewey Beach, Delaware.

He couldn't have asked for a better anniversary gift. One day after celebrating his 25th birthday, Keen once again raised the Southside Shootout trophy after beating Dave Bracht in the final.

This means that the United Skim Tour 2015 title is entirely open. Keen started the season with a fifth place in Cabo Clasico, an event won by Juan Carlos Encizo. But a victory in Delaware catapult him in the overall rankings.

Sam Stinnett conquered the 3rd edition of the Kalemba International Skimboarding Competition, held at Cabo Ledo Beach, in Angola.

A total of 28 skimboarders hailing from South Africa, Cabo Verde, Morocco, United States, Spain, Portugal, Brazil and the Netherlands competed in the event organized by Kalemba Skim.

The 2015 Kalemba International Skimboarding Competition run amateur and professional divisions for both male and female riders, and it also provided water filtration systems to transform less expensive unsafe water into safe drinking water.

Blair Conklin won the 2015 Sununga Skim Festival, in Ubatuba, Brazil.

The skimboarder from Laguna Beach prevailed in the third stop of the United Skim Tour 2015. In a rematch of last year's final, Conklin defeated the winner of the 2014 edition, Leandro Azevedo.

The final was tight, but Blair would win with a total of 23.61 points against Leandro's 22.27 points. Sam Stinnett outperformed Pablo Marreco to confirm the third place.
